Printastic! Cover an entire wall with a map. If you love maps like I do, this can be a real gem.
One of the truly neat things about having a wide format printer which is capable of printing on banner material, vinyl for signs or car wraps, and paper or cloth is being able to do high quality images for posters or photos or pictures. It is a great feature of an incredibly varied industry. I am pleased to be able to offer this to my customers.
Recently, posters were done for my US Army daughter and son-in-law. These were printed on vinyl and mounted on a PVC foam board for its rigidity and strength. They can be hung as posters or framed. These were not laminated with a protective clear vinyl, because they will be displayed indoors.
I suppose you can tell in which branches they serve!
Items like these can be placed upon PVC or polymetal substrates and can be made into different shapes and sizes. Department seals, displays or awards can be printed and mounted on metals, wood, plastics – quite a varied set of substrates.
Here is a cropped piece of a poster commissioned by a friend for his son. It is an old chart of electromagnetic radiation and fascinating for those who like a little physics and old-timey stuff now and then. This poster was finished with a protective clear laminate over it to guard against too many fingerprints and to make it easy to wipe off.
This one is actually a photo I took of a favorite painting of ours (my wife and I), and it will be on the wall at Liberty Signs. in this case, I did put a protective laminate over it; as it will be in our lobby. I wanted to ensure that any sunlight coming in the windows would not adversely affect the work. And I figured someone will touch it!
